How to Uninstall and Remove PhpMyAdmin on Ubuntu and Debian

An easy way to Uninstall and Remove PhpMyAdmin on Linux Ubuntu and Debian, on a server I use Apache2 and also use PhpMyAdmin. This makes the server load heavier and heavier, so I have to decide to delete one of them.

PhpMyAdmin

PhpMyAdmin or PMA is a PHP based software that is used for database management, one of the advantages is that it is user friendly and easy to use even for beginners.

How to Uninstall PhpMyAdmin:

To uninstall it you can run the commands below, all you have to do is run a few command lines on Linux Ubuntu or Debian. After that your phpmyadmin will be uninstalled automatically.

1. It's easy, open Terminal and run this command:
   sudo apt-get remove phpmyadmin --purge
2. and then delete phpmyadmin dependencies that are not used, by running the command:
   apt-get autoremove
